Is this certificate genuine?
When somebody finishes required security training in BadgerQuest, we issue a certificate with its own serial number. Anyone holding that certificate can confirm here that we really issued it, and that the details on it have not been altered.
What this check tells you
That BadgerQuest issued this certificate, to the person named on it, for the training named on it, on the date shown, with the score shown. The details come straight from our records rather than from the copy in front of you, so an altered PDF will not match.
It is not an accreditation, and it does not certify compliance with any law, standard or insurance requirement. It is a record that a named person completed a named course on a named date. It does not tell you whether their training is up to date today: a company can raise its pass mark or add to a course after a certificate has been issued, and we never withdraw one that was properly earned. For where somebody stands now, ask their employer for their training record.
A certificate carries somebody’s name and their employer. If a serial number on its own were enough, anyone could work through serials and collect other people’s records. Asking for a name that is already printed on the certificate costs you nothing and stops that cold. We give the same answer whether the serial does not exist or the name does not match, so nothing can be learned by guessing.
Holding a certificate that will not verify, or think something is wrong with it? Tell us and a person will look into it.
